Raj Kaushal's Demise: Divya Dutta Remembers Her Shaadi Ka Laddoo Director, 'He Had A Heart Of Gold’- EXCLUSIVE
Today the Hindi film and TV industry woke up to the sad news of film and ad director Raj Kaushal passing away. The filmmaker was married to actress Mandira Bedi. The couple had two kids together, a boy named Vir, who was born in 2011 and a girl named Tara, a four-year-old that the couple adopted just last year.

Raj suffered from a cardiac arrest earlier in the morning and eventually succumbed to it. Ever since the news broke out, friends, family and well-wishers of the couple started pouring out messages on social media grieving the loss that the industry has suffered.

In his career, Raj had directed three films, including the 2006 film Anthony Kaun Hai. The filmmaker had also directed and produced the 1999 film Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi and the 2004 film Shaadi Ka Laddoo. Apart from that, Raj had also produced the 2005 film My Brother… Nikhil.

Actress Divya Dutta who featured in Raj’s 2004 directorial, Shaadi ka Ladoo opposite Raj’s wife Mandira, Sanjay Suri and his close-friend Ashish Chowdhry, also laments the loss that the industry has suffered today. Remembering her director, Divya says, “I will remember him as the always smiling warm person, who had a heart of gold. It’s heart breaking to hear this news of him passing away. I had a blast shooting for Shaadi Ka Laddoo with him and I remember all the get togethers we had where he had so much warmth exuding from him. It’s just too early and a big loss to comprehend.”
