Salman Khan's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is one of the highly anticipated films. After a long time a big-budgeted film with of one the super Khans in the lead will release. Due to the lockdown thanks to Coronavirus, the release of many films got pushed. Radhe too was supposed to release last year, however, the makers had to postpone its release. Now, the film will release of May 13, on Eid. However, this time too, its release is quite restricted as theatres in many states are shut. Further, buzz is that the makers of the film have made 21 voluntary cuts to the film.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, the makers of Radhe have decided to cut around 21 scenes from the film that revolve around drugs and more. Report mentions that since the movie is going to have a digital release as well, people will watch it with their families. Thus, scenes of boys consuming drugs and suffering from it have been deleted. 'Swachh Mumbai' has also been changed to 'Swachh Bharat'. A source was quoted saying, "Lead actor Salman Khan and the makers felt that the film is a family entertainer. Although it’s coming on digital as well, many are going to watch it with their families in their homes. So they probably must have thought that it’s better to remove a few shots which might make the target audience uncomfortable. So, a few shots of young boys consuming drugs have been removed. There’s a quick, one-second shot of a boy suffering from over consumption of drugs. Even this blink-and-miss shot was chopped off. Then, action shots at four places were deleted, possibly as it was a bit violent.” A new shot has also been added to the film in the end.
Earlier, reports had it that Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai has received UA certification without any cuts. Well, cuts or no cuts, Salman Khan's fan are very exited for the film to release.
