R Madhavan Lashes Out On A Twitter User Who Questioned The Presence Of A Cross In His Temple
R.Madhavan whom his fans lovingly call ‘Maddy’ had a bizarre experience on twitter when a user made a demeaning comment on his faith after the actor uploaded a picture with his son sitting for a holy ritual in his home. In the image a cross is seen in the background regarding which the twitter user tweeted, “Why do they have a across in the background?! Is that a Mandir? You just lost my respect. Do you find Hindu Gods in Christian churches? All this is fake drama you did today!

And after this series of spiteful tweet followed but R. Madhavan is not the one who keeps quite when it comes to matters he strongly believes in. The actor was quick to tweet with a befitting reply along with a sacred verse in his mother tongue that says I respect all religion as my own. Check how the actor reciprocated in a polite yet in a stern manner:

“I really don't worry about respect from the likes of you. I hope you get well soon. Surprised that in your sickness you did not see the Golden Temple pic there too and asked if I converted to Sikhism. I have blessing from the Dargas there too and blessings from all religious places around the world. Some gifted and some earned. My home is home to staff from all faiths and we pray at a common alter. Like any defense personnel will tell you, happens in every unit. I have been taught from my very childhood to maintain my identity with pride but at the same time RESPECT each and every faith, belief and religion. "Yemmaddhamum Samadham" (I respect each religion as my own) I hope that my son follows that too. I have pravyed at every Darga, Gurudwara and Church. I have had the good fortune to visit when a temple was not around. They have shown me utmost love and respect knowing that I am a Hindu. How can I nit reciprocate that. All I have is a lot of love and respect to give as my vast travels and experience has proven is the only true faith. Peace and love to you too.”

We are with you Maddy, it’s sad that we have to give explanation to people with such sick mentality.
