The festival is an annual 3-day festival held under the umbrella of Rekhta. However, owing to the recent horrendous attacks in Pulwama, Ali decided to pull himself out from the event to show his solidarity towards the Indian jawaans. He was in utter shock of the inhuman attacks that can be regarded as the bloodiest in recent years and reached out to the organisers to express his displeasure of what transpired and hence he withdrew from the event.
