Pulwama Terror Attack: AICWA Requests Sushma Swaraj To Cancel Visa And Deport Pakistani Artistes
The All India Cine Workers Association has written a letter to the Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj, urging to deport Pakistani artistes and cancel their visas
Owing to the dastardly terror attacks in Pulwama, the All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) had called for a blanket ban on Pakistani artistes from working in India. In the letter, they not only condemned the attacks but also announced a total ban on Pakistani artistes.
Now, the AICWA has written a letter to the Minister of External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj requesting her to cancel the visas of Pakistani artistes and deport them to Pakistan. Here are the contents of the letter, “All Indian Cine Workers Association request Smt Sushma Swaraj Ji and our honourable prime minister to kindly cancelled visas of Pakistani artists and deport them to Pakistan with immediate effect. There is an end point now to stop Pakistanis to earn commercial remuneration Indians by injuncting them from performing in our Nation. Our brave hearts have lost their lives for us and should we get all the entertainment of performance by artist of Pakistan in our Nation? Absolutely no. It must end now.”
Several Bollywood celebs like Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor condemned the attack and many of them even offered financial assistance to the families of martyrs. Also, makers of movies like Total Dhamaal, Luka Chuppi and Arjun Patiala, decided to not release their movies in Pakistan.
