In a throwback interview, Priyanka revealed why she stayed mum on her link-up rumours with Shahid Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan!
Bollywood’s desi girl Priyanka Chopra has been making headlines for her shocking revelations. A few days ago, she left everyone shocked after she said she was cornered in Bollywood to a point that she was not getting work. PeeCee even mentioned she was tired of dirty politics in the industry. Now, another video of Priyanka revealing why she stayed mum on her link-up rumours with Shahid Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan has gone viral.
The Baywatch actress even spoke about Karan Johar and revealed what went wrong between them. In the same viral clip, Priyanka addressed the reports of Kareen Kapoor getting jealous of her because of winning the National Award for Fashion. She told NDTV, “I guess if you don’t have one, you know… sour grapes… What do I say?” She further spoke about her fallout with Karan Johar and said “I am somebody who is very loyal. I know who my friends are and I keep them very close and that’s not too many people. It’s a few people and that’s how I’d like to keep it.” ALSO READ: Priyanka Chopra Gets Brutally TROLLED For Getting VIP Treatment At Siddhivinayak Temple; Netizens Say, ‘Humko Naa Photo Lena Allowed Hai Naa Aarti Attend Krna’
Further, when asked why she stayed silent on her alleged affairs with Shahid and SRK, Priyanka explained that her denying them won't make them untrue. Reportedly, Priyanka was madly in love with Shahid. Their love bloomed during the shooting of their film Kaminey, however, they later parted ways. Kapoor’s dominant nature is said to be the reason for their split.
Priyanka was then linked with Shah Rukh and it is said that Gauri Khan asked Karan Johar for help in the matter.
Meanwhile, during her recent appearance on a podcast with Dax Shepherd, Priyanka made an explosive revelation about why she moved to the US. “I was being pushed into a corner in the industry (Bollywood). I had people not casting me, I had beef with people, I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break,” she was quoted saying.
Work-wise, Priyanka is gearing up for the release of her upcoming web show Citadel, which will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on April 28.
