Priyanka Chopra Pays Tribute To Her Parents For Serving In The Indian Army; Shares Their UNSEEN Pic To Celebrate Memorial Day
Priyanka Chopra is a super-successful actress, a singer, a producer and a humanitarian, while her parents, both doctors by profession, have served in the Indian Army. Today, on the occasion of the Memorial Day, the global diva took to her Instagram and paid a heartwarming tribute to her parents and all the fallen military heroes. The Sky Is Pink actress shared an unseen, rare picture of her late father Ashok Chopra and mom Madhu Chopra, both clad in Army uniforms. She also expressed her love for all the military families across the globe.

The vintage photo shared by Priyanka Chopra is a monochromatic portrait of her mother and father posing in the Indian Army uniforms with their name badges attached to it. In her caption, Chopra wrote, "Both my parents served in the Indian Army... and maybe that’s why I feel such a kinship with military families all over the world. Today let’s think of all the fallen heroes that have given their lives in service to protect our freedom. #memorialday @madhumalati #LtcolAshokChopra."

Priyanka’s cousin and actress, Parineeti Chopra responded by writing, “Badi Mumma and Bade Papa’s best photo!” While fashion designer Farah Khan Ali wrote, “What a handsome couple.” Stand-up comedian Russell Peters asserted, “My family too!”

Priyanka Chopra's husband Nick Jonas, too, remembered the fallen military fighters by tweeting, "Today we remember our fallen heroes. Thank you to the service members and their families who have given their everything for our country. #MemorialDay."
