Priyanka Chopra Compares Husband Nick Jonas To Her Father, Says 'He Is My Dad's Chhavi'

Priyanka Chopra is currently busy promoting her The Sky Is Pink and in one of the recent interviews, she got candid about husband Nick Jonas. She compared him to her father and said that the American singer is like her father's shadow.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had her dream wedding in December 2018. Ever since the duo has met at Met Gala, they have been nothing but one adorable couple. Since they settled into marital bliss, Nickyanka (as they are fondly known by the fans) never fails to give us some major relationship goals, in fact, with each passing day, the two redefine goals for us. Priyanka indeed got her prince Charming in Nick Jonas and she is truly one lucky woman.

Well, Priyanka, who in Mumbai to promote her upcoming film, The Sky Is Pink, talked about her beloved hubby. How her marriage had a lot of mutual respect and admiration. She also said that Nick is a considerate man she has ever met. Not only this, PeeCee even said that she felt that she married someone who is more like her father, Ashok Chopra's shadow.      


In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Chopra Jonas said, “I can only relate to what I saw with my parents’ marriage. That was a marriage of equals, there was a lot of mutual respect and admiration. Nick and I have that too. He is the most considerate man I’ve ever met. In everything he does, Nick puts me first. It’s wonderful to wake up every day and know that there is this person who thinks about you even before you think about yourself. That’s eventually what you want, someone who loves you like a hug. The more I get to know him, yes. I feel I have married someone who is my dad’s chhavi (Shadow). Not just the music, they are both very stable, solid, rooted and dependable.” 

Meanwhile, The Sky Is Pink which was premiered at TIFF got a standing ovation from the audience. During filming one particular scene, the 35-year-old actress broke down on the sets and the director Shonali Bose came to her rescue. The film also stars Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf. TSIP is set to release on October 11, 2019.
