Priyanka Chopra Jonas Opens Up Her Restaurant In New York Named Sona; From Menu To Interiors, It's All Things Desi And Classy - INSIDE PICS

Priyanka Chopra is going great guns. While her acting career is in the best phase, she recently turned author as she penned her own memoir titled Unfinished. The book became a Best Seller in New York. She has been receiving accolades from all corners for her book in which she has penned about her family, struggle and much more. Now, Priyanka has added another feather to her hat. She has become a restaurateur. She has once again proved that she is still a desi at heart as she has opened up an Indian-style restaurant in New York.

Priyanka Chopra's restaurant is called Sona and it comes with an Indian style menu and classy interiors. Making the announcement, she shared some pictures on Instagram that see her and family conducting puja at the restaurant. It also sees Nick Jonas taking part in the puja. While making the announcement, she wrote, "I’m thrilled to present to you SONA, a new restaurant in NYC that I poured my love for Indian food into. SONA is the very embodiment of timeless India and the flavours I grew up with. The kitchen is helmed by the incredible Chef @harinayak, a masterful talent, who has created the most delicious and innovative menu, taking you on a food journey through my amazing country."

The White Tiger actress also launched the restaurant's website and official Instagram account that gives us a sneak peak into its menu and classy interiors. "Kofta Korma (Dancing Ewe Farms Ricotta Dumpling in Cashew Sauce) accompanied by Chili Cheese Naan is one of the menu. There's a private space in the restaurant called 'Mimi' too.
