Preity Zinta Goofs Up Her Congratulatory Tweet On India's Victory Against Australia, Gets Mercilessly Trolled
The Indian cricket team is overjoyed to win a test series against Australia. However, Preity Zinta in a bout of excitement, wished them on Twitter with a minor error inviting trolls aplenty
On Monday, India made history by clinching the first-ever series against Australia with a 2-1 score, that too on Australian turf. Indeed, a proud moment for Indians all over; congratulatory messages didn’t stop pouring in for captain Virat Kohli and Team India. And amongst those messages also stood actress Preity Zinta’s message.
Unfortunately for the co-owner of Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Kings XI Punjab, her congratulatory tweet didn’t go well with the Twitterati, due to a small error. She tweeted, “Congratulations to the boys in blue for being the first Asian team to win a test match down under @cheteshwar1 take a bow #AUSvsIND #victory #ting #TeamIndia #IndianCricketTeam @BCCI”

Sadly for the actress, India isn’t the first Asian team to win a Test in Australia and they are the first to win a Test series Down Under. Her error was enough to make her an easy troll target as several followers of the actress didn’t spare her with their comments.

On Monday, due to rains the final day of the Sydney Test was abandoned thereby putting an end to India’s 71-year wait for a victory in Test series against Australia. Virat Kohli, also became the first Indian and Asian captain to win a Test series in Australia.
The atmosphere on field was joyous and an excited and happy Anushka Sharma quickly took to the ground after the match and hugged her hubby dearest, joyfully. It was a sweet sight to see!
Anyway, coming back to Preity Zinta, we wonder if she has read the trolls by now and will she revert back to them or let it stay as it is.
