Prabhas Had Been Warned By Baahubali Director SS Rajamouli About The Glaring Flaws In Saaho: Report
Announcement of Saaho starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor instantly got the audience expecting a film equivalent to Baahubali series. The aura and larger-than-life element of the film got Prabhas massive fame and recognition in Bollywood. However, Saaho couldn’t match up to the standards of Baahubali and reportedly a competition between SS Rajamouli and Prabhas is the reason behind it. As per a news report in a portal Great Andhra SS Rajamouli’s inputs were overlooked by the actor, thus proving the mediocre success of Saaho at box-office.

SS Rajamouli had watched the film before its release and had suggested to trim down in terms of duration. But his suggestion was not paid any heed. Further adding to the report it was also mentioned that the actor wanted to prove that a film without SS Rajamouli can be equally successful and grand. However, it backfired and film is slowing and steadily surviving at the box-office. This has further resulted into a rift between the actor- director duo.

Prabhas’ Saaho though opened on a strong note on with Rs 24.4 crore, but it struggles to enter the 100 crore club even after 4 days of its release. The movie stood at a box-office figure of Rs. 93 crore on its fourth day.  Movie marked Shraddha Kapoor’s debut down south and Prabhas’ first outing in Bollywood post the dubbed version of magnum opus Baahubali.

Saaho released in a non-holiday period which also hampered its box-office collection to certain extend. It released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
