A few days ago, we told you that Shah Rukh Khan will shake a leg to a special song-and-dance number, which will be used as a promotional tool for the film.

The supertar earlier wanted to star in the remake himself but couldn’t do so due to dearth of dates. Talking to the media on the occasion of 4th National Yash Chopra Memorial Award which was given to him, Shah Rukh had said: “I wanted to do the film. I really wanted to do it when I heard the script. But I was doing other films. So, I couldn’t. But the team, which is doing right now, is great."

“I am glad I am remaking Ittefaq. I also like Yashji’s Waqt. It is beautiful. From my own films with him, I think it would be Jab Tak Hai Jaan because that was his last movie,” he had added.

The remake of Ittefaq is being directed by BR Chopra’s grandson Abhay. The film went on floors in mid-February.
