Pooja Bhatt Reacts On News Of Hindi Film Industry Shifting To Uttar Pradesh; ‘You Can Take Film Industry Out Of Mumbai But You Can’t Take Mumbai Out Of It’
This is what actress Pooja Bhatt has to say about moving the Hindi film industry out of Mumbai. The actress feels industry can be moved out of Mumbai, but Mumbai can’t be moved from the film industry
Recently, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath revealed his plans of building a new film city in UP. The news not only left everyone amazed but also attracted reactions from prominent personalities like Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and Home Minister of Maharashtra, Anil Deshmukh among others. Now the latest one to join the list is Pooja Bhatt. A while back, a former actress replied to a user who asked her if the Hindi film industry can ever move out of Mumbai.
Replying to the user, Pooja Bhatt tweeted, “As is said ‘You can take the girl/boy out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the girl/boy’ Similarly- You can take the Hindi film Industry out of Mumbai but you can’t take Mumbai out of the Hindi film industry.” Earlier speaking to ANI, Anil Deshmukh said, “Over 100 years ago film industry was established here. I don’t think any other state could've provided the facilities that Mumbai has. We've better law & order. I'm confident the film Industry can't go elsewhere. Let him (UP CM) make efforts."
For those who have come in late, earlier, UP Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath had spilled the beans on his ambitious plan to set up a film city in the state. Following which he had then rolled out an open offer to the film fraternity to come to UP to shoot their films. A couple of days back, CM Adityanath met Akshay Kumar where they had a fruitful discussion on the film world.
