Pooja Bhatt On Arnab Goswami Calling Arjun Kapoor A Small Time Actor: It Takes 'GUTS' To Be An Actor
Pooja Bhatt comes to Arjun Kapoor’s rescue as she replies to Arnab Goswami referring to Kapoor as a ‘small time actor’ on his Twitter debate last night. Without naming Kapoor or Goswami, Pooja posted a series of tweets.
Last night Arnab Goswami in his primetime debate made a comment on Arjun Kapoor which has now made the actor trend heavily on Social Media. While saying how BMC demolishing Kangana's office within 24 hours of having served a notice was not right, the Republic TV chief discussed some old cases related to the alleged ‘illegal extension’ on properties held by famous celebrities. Goswami referred to a list of other celebs who also faced the wrath of the BMC but nothing major happened with them, when compared to Ranaut, he said. Starting with Arjun Kapoor, Arnab began by calling him a ‘small time actor’, he also claimed he doesn't know ‘who that person is’. Well this didn't go down well with Pooja Bhatt who belongs to the same fraternity and she took to her twitter handle to give a strong reaction to it. Pooja, in a series of tweets not only condemned the comment but also went on to call actors, warriors.
Pooja Bhatt who is often seen voicing her opinion tweeted, "I agree with @mehtahansal when he says “Nobody is a small time actor”. People use terms like the above & ‘out of work’ actor, ‘B’ or ‘C’ grade actor as a means to dismiss & degrade. The joy & trial of being an actor/artist is that at some point you are going to be out of work.” She continued, "That’s what makes ALL artistes across board such courageous people. To constantly embrace uncertainty, to plod on & put your best face forward even after enduring failure. To follow your heart & hone your art no matter how average or brilliant people think you are-that takes guts.” Also read: Pooja Bhatt Reacts To Kangana Ranaut's Nepotism Remarks, 'I Know More Insiders Who Are Outsiders And Even More Outsiders Who Are Insiders’
In her another tweet she mentioned, "So here’s to the artists, the makers, the entertainers, the believers. We are warriors! Our tools are our hearts, our senses. Our strength is our vulnerability, our capacity to fall & rise again. Success is temporary, failure guaranteed & we still do what we do. Not everyone’s cup of tea!" For those who are uninitiated, In 2017, BMC demolished Arjun Kapoor’s terrace in Juhu, which had a make-shift gym. The civic body had issued a notice to the actor encroaching on the terrace by constructing a 30-by-16 sq ft brick room without permission.
