Kartik Aaryan has been making headlines for multiple reasons lately. The actor made a huge buzz after it was announced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions that Kartik is no longer a part of Dostana's sequel and that the project would be recast. Since then, his fans took to social media to call out the makers of the film and blamed it on nepotism. Pooja Bedi, has now reacted to Kartik Aaryan being dropped from the project and said that it's unfair to blame nepotism for it.
"I'll say that there's equal opportunity for everyone. We have Preity Zinta, Sushmita Sen, Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit, Shah Rukh Khan and so many other people who have come into the industry with no background and become icons. At the same time, we have people who've been part of the industry and yet fizzled out. Kumar Gaurav made a great debut with 'Love Story,' but his career didn't take off," said Pooja.
She further went on to mention that she herself had to audition for her role in the Netflix series Masaba Masaba. She said that even her daughter, Alaya F, had to face rejections before she made her debut with Jawaani Jaaneman. She added that people are envious of people who have a certain privilege. 'Yes, of course, we are privileged, but that doesn't mean that anybody will cast someone because there's somebody's child,' said Pooja. She even mentioned that a lot of outsides are given those opportunities and called it fantastic.
The actress was recently in the news after she opened up about her love life. She said that after parting ways with Farhan Furniturewala, she has been in a few relationships. She said that her children, Alaya F and Omar are still close to all her exes and there's a great rapport between them.
