Police Complaint Filed Against Kangana Ranaut For Video Supporting Sister Rangoli Chandel After Suspension Of Her Twitter Account
Not very long ago, Kangana Ranaut had come forth to support her sister Rangoli Chandel after the latter’s Twitter account was suspended over allegedly spreading hate against a certain community. The Queen actress, through a video message, had defended Rangoli and mentioned that she never targeted any community and was only agitated over people who are harassing doctors and police officials amid the Coronavirus outbreak. Now, as per IANS, a Mumbai-based advocate named Kaashif Khan Deshmukh has filed a police complaint against the actress.

The report in IANS mentioned that as per the copy of the complaint, “It is pertinent to note that one sister calls for genocide killings, violence and the other sister not just support her for the same despite nationwide criticism and suspension of her Twitter account but also gives a label of terrorist to a sect..." As per the complaint, Kangana and her sister are also accused of “misusing their stardom, fame, money, power and influence with an aim and intent to promote hatred, disbalance, fights in the country for their personal benefits and gains.”

The video shared by Kangana Ranaut’s official team saw the actress claiming that they both will apologise if anyone finds a tweet where Rangoli said anything offensive.

Kangana Ranaut further stated, "My sister Rangoli Chandel had specifically mentioned that people who have attacked doctors and police personnel should be shot dead”.  She also accused Farah Ali Khan and Reema Kagti, who reported Rangoli’s Twitter account, of making false allegations that Chandel’s tweet was community-specific.
