Plagiarism Case Filed Against Raabta By Magadheera Makers, Sushant Singh Rajput Denies The Accusation
Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon are not leaving any stone unturned to promote their upcoming film Raabta. They are visiting different cities, making appearances on various reality shows and what not!

But here’s a little hitch! When the trailer of their film, Raabta released, a lot of people felt that it reminds them of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya or SS Rajamouli’s Magadheera. While Mirzya makers didn’t care much, looks like it’s not the same for the makers of Magadheera.

The makers of the Telugu film, Magadheera have filed a law suit against the makers of Raabta accusing them of plagiarism.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted a while back giving out the news. He wrote, "Breaking: #Magadheera film makers go to court against #Raabta... seek an injunction against the film's release...Story plagiarism charge..."

He also uploaded another image photo of text message which further read, “They contend that the Raabta film copied its unique story and plot line in violation of its copyright. The Hyderabad court issued notice and posted the matter to 1st June to decide whether the film must be permitted to release on 9th June."

Sushant and Kriti attended the premiere of Sachin: A Billion Dreams last night, where the duo was asked about the recent case (check the video above). Sushant said, “If you read the most basic book about screenplay, there are only 8 different kind of stories  that you can tell. So every story, is from those 8 stories. And whoever you are talking about, who has a problem or see a similarity can watch our film and they can find out. ”

Meanwhile Kriti said, “I have seen the movies you are talking about, and I have read the script of Raabta and it is in no way similar to any film. The characters, the narrative and everything from scratch is different.”

Well, with SS Rajamouli’s Magadheera makers suddenly waking up a few days before the film’s release, it looks like there is trouble in paradise for Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon’s Raabta.
