PIL Filed Against Salman Khan And Katrina Kaif's Bharat Title
Ahead of its release, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat is again making headlines and this time, its legally. It is reported that a petition has been filed against the film in Delhi High Court for hurting patriotic sentiments.  From Priyanka Chopra's exit to Salman Khan getting miffed with PC, the film is making a lot of noise since the very beginning.

According to a leading daily, the petition has been moved to Delhi High Court against Salman and Katrina’s film Bharat title change. As per the petitioner, the name of the film is against Section 3 of the Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act. As per this act, the word ‘Bharat’ cannot be used for any professional and commercial purposes. The PIL doesn’t end at the change in the title of Salman’s film.

The report further adds, the petitioner also wanted a particular dialogue also to be removed from the film where Salman Khan's character compares himself to the name of the country in the trailer. While the particular dialogue surely imprinted many fans, the petitioner has said that it has hurt the Bharatiya (Indian) sentiments.

It is also reported that this last minute PIL against the title of the film and the dialogue may or may not create a problem.

However, now we have to see what the Delhi High Court decides as Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat is slated to release on 5th June 2019.
