Pati Patni Aur Woh: Huma Qureshi's Boyfriend, Director Mudassar Aziz Takes A Dig On His Own Marital Status
On Monday, the makers of the film Pati Patni Aur Woh released the first trailer. The film stars Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. At the press conference, film's director and Huma Qureshi's boyfriend ended up taking a dig at his own marital status. Here's what he said
Pati Patni Aur Woh created quite a stir the moment the trailer hit the internet. From Kartik Aaryan’s quirky antics, Bhumi Pednekar’s sati savitri yet bold avatar to Ananya Pandya ‘woh wala’ tadka in the film, the fans seemed to really enjoy every of the film. Though it talks about an extra-marital affair, its comical timing is something the completely sold the viewers to watch the film even more. In fact, Twitteratis called the film Khatarnak comedy and we couldn’t agree more. As the film revolves around the extra-marital affair, during the trailer launch, the director was asked about the concept of the film, to which he said adultery is a universal concept.
Taking a dig at his own marital status, he joked, “We try to show things onscreen that we fail to live out in real life. Since my marriage didn’t work, I thought should at least make someone else’s successful in the film.” When asked if the film is going to an exact replica of the original film, to which the director Mudassar said that BR Chopra’s film was considered bold in its time, it might appear dated in today’s world, so, while staying true to the essence of the original, they have created a modern-day adaptation of the film. Well, if this is so, then we are really looking forward to seeing the film.
Moreover, in the trailer, Kartik who plays Abhinav ‘Chintu’ Tyagi is an average layman who works in a normal office. He later gets married to Vedika Tripathi, played by Bhumi, is a bold and feisty girl, enters Tapasya, played Anaya Panday. She is beautiful and sexy but when ‘woh ka tadka lagta hai’ in Chintu’s life, his life turns upside down, resulting in his wife leaving him.
