Pathaan Controversy: Bajrang Dal Workers VANDALIZE Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone's Movie Posters At An Ahmedabad Mall- WATCH
Ever since the release of the Besharam Rang, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, the Siddharth Anand directorial Pathaan has been on the receiving end of hate from the right-wing groups. They are against the movie because of its name and because Deepika was seen wearing a saffron coloured bikini in the song. For the unversed, saffron is said to be a holy colour that is associated with Hindutva and Hindu religion. As a means of protest, individuals from the Bajrang Dal group have now vandalized the poster of the film.

In a video that is now going viral, men donning saffron scarves can be seen taking down, tearing and stomping on every poster that meets their eye. If reports are to be believed, the vandalism took place at the Ahmedabad One Mall in the Karnavati area. They even throw down a standee at the entrance of the theatre, while some people are seen trying to calm them down. ALSO READ: WHAT! Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan Trailer Gets LEAKED Online? Many wondered how these individuals have the time to indulge in such activities. Others stated it is the product of unemployment. One netizen said, “This is so strange that using saffron scarfs to support violence or rioting doesn't hurt anyone's sentiments.”

Another wrote, “In groups like Bajrang Dal, their leaders are older adults or mid-aged, while the ground workers are jobless and in-mid 20s!!!” Other wrote, “Next level of andhbhakti and unemployment.
