Parineeti Chopra stated that her sister Priyanka Chopra was a ‘soldier’ in hospital after her daughter Malti was born prematurely
On the occasion of Mother’s day, power couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas sent the internet into a meltdown as they shared the first photo of their newborn baby girl. Desi girl posted a candid picture of her daughter on Instagram and announced her homecoming after 100 days in NICU. She revealed that her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas was born prematurely, and thus, the baby was kept in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) for 100 days under observation.
Soon after Priyanka shared her little girl’s first picture, her family members and industry friends started pouring in love for the little munchkin. Amongst all the comments, her sister Parineeti Chopra’s heartfelt revelation caught everyone’s attention. Taking to the comments section, the Ishaqzaade actress revealed that Priyanka Chopra was ‘a soldier in hospital' after Malti’s premature birth. Parineeti wrote, “Seeing the both of you like this the last three months has been both hard and inspiring. Mimi didi - I saw a soldier in the hospital - You. And little BD has taught us so much already and she doesn’t even know it! Not just Parineeti, Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Preity Zinta Sonam Kapoor, and Kajal Aggarwal among others also showered love and blessings on Priyanka. While Anushka wrote, “Lots of love to you strong mumma! And love and blessings to the little one,” Ranveer Singh commented, “Oh PC!" along with heart emojis.
The Matrix Resurrections star has shared the first photo of her baby girl along with a heartfelt note that read, “On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home.”
In January this year, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, who got married in 2018, welcomed their first child via surrogacy.
