We often come across blunders made by news portals; be it for someone’s face, profession or even name for that matter. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan recently grabbed the headlines due to one such mistake made by a Pakistani news channel. It all happened after the nieghbouring country’s MQM leader Amir Khan, on Thursday, was acquitted in a double murder case. However, in a screengrab shared by one of the Indian journalists, it appears that the news channel displayed Aamir Khan’s picture instead of Amir Khan.
The picture had the news written update written in Urdu, along with a snapshot of Aamir Khan. The journalist’s caption read, “Headline: After 17 years MQM leader Amir Khan exonerated in a murder case. Didn't know Indian actor Amir Khan was in Pakistan for the last 17 years.” LOL, such blunder! Fans were quick to pour in their hilarious responses on her tweet. A user commented, “Looks like Nelson Mandela type case and people in TN put a big poster of Morgan Freeman.”
While other people wrote, “Amir khan ko tag Karo esme vo bhi shocked Ho jayega,” “Even @aamir_khan doesn't know this,” “Hahaha, you have made my day.”
