Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan made a smashing comeback with the action thriller ‘Pathaan’ which reunited him with Deepika Padukone. Siddharth Anand’s directorial proved to be a hit at the box office as it has earned Rs 1200 crore globally. While fans hailed the film as the most successful movie of his career, Pakistan actor Yasir Hussain has taken a nasty dig at the movie. Yasir took to his social media handles to slam ‘Paathan’ and called it a video game. 

He tweeted, “Agar aap mission impossible 1 bhi dekh chukey hain toh shah rukh khan ki pathan aap ko aik story less video game se zyada kuch nahi lagy gi.” This post received mixed response from netizens, while Hussain fans backed him, SRK fans lashed out at the Pakistani actor. Speaking to the media, Pathaan’s director Siddharth Anand spoke about the criticism surrounding the film and said, “The four of us have the same belief system, and the same films we’ve grown up on, and believed in. We share that. ‘Pathaan’ which also stars John Abraham in a pivotal role, has become the highest-grossing Hindi film in India with a total collection of Rs 522 crore nett. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the movie was released on 25 January 2023. Shah Rukh made his comeback with this film after a gap of four years.
