Being a celebrity isn’t as pleasant and fun as it seems. While celebs receive endless love and praise from their fans, they are also often subjected to social media trolling and criticism. It’s International Women’s Day today, and social media has been full of posts by people dedicated to the women in their lives. Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin shared a post on her Instagram speaking of ‘backbones and solidarity,’ while sharing a picture of her sitting with her friend in a monokini. While there were many who praised her for sharing the snap. A few trolls body-shamed her, calling her anorexic.

Kalki Koechlin captioned the picture as, “To backbones and solidarity... #happywomensday #bettertogether #astrongspineiseverything.” In the picture, Kalki can be seen sitting with her friend while they looked at the water body in front of them. They posed with their backs to the camera. Kalki can be seen wearing a blue colored monokini in the snap, and a few trolls dropped by on her post to body- shame her. One user wrote, “Eat something plzzz...!!,” while another troll commented, “Anorexics !” Another social media user commented, “Kuch khaaya piya...kro..@kalkikanmani mam ..be strong.”

However, a few of them also came out in support of Kalki Koechlin, and slammed the trolls. “To all the judgemental comments.. please work on your inner beauty first..,” wrote one social media user, while another wrote, “Don't listen to haters kalki, u r beautiful." A troll dropped a rather nasty comment, asking “Which disease is this? @kalkikanmani.” Slamming this user, one of Kalki’s fans wrote, “the disease is called "having a body" ....symptoms are -random people who think they are entitled to having opinions on other people's bodies start making really rude and dumb unecessary comments.”
