OMG! Varun Dhawan Files Police Complaint Against Stalker Who Threatened To Kill Herself
A fan started bombarding Varun Dhawan with WhatsApp messages making his life miserable. The actor had no option but to go to the police.
Varun Dhawan
recently filed a police complaint against a fan who was constantly threatening
him. Reports suggest that a woman had been bombarding Varun with messages on
his personal number on WhatsApp. The actor chose to not react to the messages.
However, it got pretty annoying so he blocked her on the platform.
However, it didn’t end there. A couple of days after that, the Badlapur actor
got a call from an unknown number and the person threatened him that the fan
would kill herself if he did not reply to her WhatsApp messages. Following
that, the actor consulted his legal team and immediately filed a police
complaint against the stalker.
An officer from Mumbai’s Santacruz police station confirmed the development and told mid-day where he said, “We have received a complaint from Varun Dhawan and are in the process of finding out details about the person who had called him. The number has been switched off ever since the call was made.”
For now, Varun
hasn’t issued any official statement regarding the same.
In other news, Varun Dhawan, whose last film Judwaa 2 was a massive hit at the
box office, is currently working on October. The film is being helmed by ace
film maker Shoojit Sircar.
