Salim Khan in an old interview has opened up about his eldest son Salman Khan’s fear and why he hasn’t tied the knot yet
Over the years, Bollywood actor and filmmaker Salman Khan has made a name for himself in the Hindi entertainment industry. He has been linked to many actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Iulia Vantur, Somy Ali, and Sangeeta Bijlani, among others. However, none of them ever lasted. While he was all set to marry Sangeeta, the wedding was called off at the last moment. Since then he was tagged as the ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ in Bollywood netizens would always wonder why he isn’t getting married.
Opening up about the same, during an old interview with Komal Nahta, Salim Khan revealed one of his eldest son’s biggest fears. Shedding light on the 58-year-old actor’s inhibition to get married, the veteran filmmaker revealed that his son gets attracted easily, but lacks the courage to get married as he worries about not finding a woman who will handle his family like his mother, Salma Khan (previously known as Sushila Charak), has. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, he said, “He easily gets into a relationship but lacks the courage to get married. He has a very simple nature and gets attracted easily. However, he fears whether the woman will be able to handle the family like his mother does. He wants the woman to be committed to her husband and family like his mother was. She should cook meals for the children, help them get ready, and get their homework done.” The 88-year-old filmmaker concludes by stating how it is not possible in today’s time. Over the past few months, the Bhajrangi Bhaijaan actor has made the headlines for gunshots being fired at his apartment and receiving threats from Lawerence Bishnoi and his gang. For those who don’t know, two individuals on a bike open fired five rounds of bullets at Khan’s residence in Bandra, Galaxy Apartments, on April 14 at 5 am. After the case was registered, the police officials arrested six individuals out of which Anuj Thapan, allegedly committed suicide in a police lock-up on May 1. The officials recently arrested a 25-year-old YouTuber from Rajasthan, Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar, for threatening to kill the actor.
On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming action flick, Sikandar opposite Rashmika Mandanna. He also has Vishu Vardhan and Karan Johar’s The Bull in the pipeline. If reports are to be believed he will be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, for YRF’s spy thriller Pathaan vs Tiger.
