Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is currently gearing up to welcome his first child with his wife Deepika Padukone. He has made a name for himself in the Hindi entertainment industry with his versatile acting performances. He recently took time off from his hectic schedule and set off to Alibagh for some ‘me’ time before beginning his preparations for an upcoming project. Amidst it all he met up with Indian columnist, Shobhaa De at their favourite cafe who shared photos with the father-to-be and also an update on his upcoming project.

Taking to her official social media handle, De shared a few photos with Ranveer and the food she ate at the cafe. In her caption, she mentioned that he has to gain 15 kgs for an upcoming project. She wrote in her caption, “Unexpected encounter at our favourite cafe in Alibagh. Selfie King @ranveersingh enjoying much needed "me time" before he takes up daddy duties....and starts his next film. Oh....the fries were mine. But he said he is focusing on carbs himself. He needs to be 15kg heavier for his latest project. Charming, natural and unfailingly polite as always. Having tied the knot with Deepika in 2018, the couple is all set to welcome their first child in September 2024. They had taken to their official social media handle to share a collaborative post, in February, to announce their pregnancy. 

On the work front, last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Ranveer Singh will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s cop film Singham Again. Set to release this year, the movie also stars Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and Arjun Kapoor. He also has Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 in his pipeline.
