Actress and filmmaker-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut often speaks out about the practices going on in Bollywood. Having made a name for herself in the Hindi film industry with her versatile performances, she boldly talks about her struggles and her experiences in the entertainment industry, which often contradicts the anecdotes shared by other celebrities. In a recent interview, the Emergency actress opened up about her dislike toward attending Bollywood parties and the type of shallow conversations the actors indulge in.

As she is busy promoting her upcoming film Emergency, Kangana sat down with Raj Shamani, for his podcast, and opened up about her personal and professional experiences. A clip of the interview has now gone viral on Reddit, where she is seen talking about what kinds of conversations take place at Bollywood parties. Giving a jist of the conversations, she expressed that they often talk about where they were shooting, and how they are on a diet, and they also discuss dating rumours reported by the media. She went on to mimic certain actresses, which left the host in splits. When questioned about her stance on going to such parties, the 37-year-old actress revealed that it is quite traumatic for her. Ranaut went on to express that she gets embarrassed by such kinds of conversations. Well, it is safe to say that the netizens had a field day because of the now-viral video. Taking to the comment section, one wrote, “Kangana should be the last person to be kholing anyone's dhoti. Also thanks to many people we all know how fake celebs can be.” Another wrote, “What does she expect at filmy parties, deep philosophical talks. She was fine with these parties earlier, now suddenly she is above all this.” One commented, “As per her the actress should meet on Bollywood parties and discuss what Nietzsche meant when he used the term " Ubermensch" and how it affected the 20th century fascist movement.”
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut was last seen in Tejas. The movie failed to impress the audience as well as the critics and it tanked at the box office. She will be next seen in Emergency. Not only is the movie her first solo directorial, but she will also be essaying the role of India’s late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film is all set to be released on September 6, 2024. Apart from that, she also has a few other projects in her pipeline.
