In the midst of it all the excitement celebrity mehendi artist Veena Nagda opened up about her recent meeting with Ranveer and shared her prediction on the yet-to-be-born baby’s gender.
Nagda recently sat down for a chat with the entertainment portal Pinkvilla’s Hindi Rush channel and opened up about meeting the Lootera actor twice at weddings, one of them being Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s. It was during the same that he joked with her about wanting to have a little mehendi on himself. She wholeheartedly congratulated him and expressed how she feels that the couple will be welcoming a baby boy soon. She recalled a special memory she shared with Deepika when she had first applied mehendi to her, during the shoot of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Veena revealed that the actress was left in awe of her designs and promised to invite her to her own wedding. She kept her promise and invited her when she tied the knot with Ranveer in 2018. For the unversed, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone fell in love while working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela in 2012. After dating for years, they tied the knot in 2018. The couple is all set to welcome their first child in September 2024. In February 2024, they took to their official social media handle to share a collaborative post that announced their pregnancy. Being together for more than a decade, they truly are the epitome of couple goals and have set the bar high for all the lovers out there.
On the work front, last seen in Kalki 2898 AD, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. She will be entering the cop universe as Shakti Shetty. The movie also stars Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles. On the other hand, Ranveer also has Don 3 in his pipeline. He also recently announced a multi-starrer collaboration, an untitled project with Aditya Dhar, co-starring Sanja Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal.
