Officer Who Stopped Salman Khan Rewarded For 'Exemplary Professionalism', Not Punished: CISF
Salman Khan was stopped at the Mumbai airport by a CISF officer for a security check. The said officer was reported to be punished. But CISF has issued a clarification
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif flew to Russia to shoot for the spy thriller, Tiger 3, a couple of days ago. A video clip of a CISF officer stopping Salman Khan at the airport for the necessary security checks was lauded for fulfilling his duties. He was also seen instructing the paps asking the actor to pose to back off. However, a certain section of the media reported that the CISF officer was penalised for his actions. It was rumoured that ASI Somnath Mohanty of Rayagada’s mobile was confiscated as he spoke to the media. Now Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), MHA, Govt. of India has issued a clarification.
CISF's official Twitter account posted, “The contents of this tweet are incorrect & without factual basis. In fact, the officer concerned has been suitably rewarded for exemplary professionalism in the discharge of his duty (sic).” Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are said to be filming for certain action sequences of the movie in Russia. Tiger 3 marks the third film in the Ek Tha Tiger franchise, which will be helmed by Manish Sharma.
Apart from Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprising their roles as Raw agent Tiger and Pakistani Spy Zoya respectively in Tiger 3, it was reported that actor Emraan Hashmi will be essaying the role of antagonist in the film. It was even reported that the actor has kick-started the shoot for his part for the film. But looks like all of this went in vain.

Much to everyone’s shock and dismay, Emraan Hashmi made an explosive statement saying that he is not a part of the third instalment of Tiger 3. “Who told you what I have already shot for it? People are saying this, but I have not shot for the film. In fact, I am not a part of the film. I don’t know why people are saying this. I have never given a quote or never said that I am doing the film,” Hashmi recently told Pinkvilla. ALSO READ: Salman Khan Poses With Fans Amidst Tiger 3 Shoot In Russia
