Now, Kriti Sanon Out Of Half Girlfriend?
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... Fingers crossed
The game of musical chairs has been on for long for Ekta Kapoor and Mohit Suri's Half Girlfriend.
First, it was Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, who were to do the screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel - but the two chose Karan Johar's Shuddhi over the Balaji Telefilms production. It's a different story that Shuddhi never took off.

With that jodi out of the picture, Ekta and Mohit got down to Plan B, and zeroed in on Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon.
Just when the producer-director duo breathed a sigh of relief, it was a classic case of deja vu for them. A few days ago, the industry woke up to read the news that Sushant and Kriti have also been signed by Dinesh Vijan for his directorial debut! And that's when trouble started brewing.
Sushant opted out of Mohit's film. Turns out, Ekta and Dinesh wanted the same set of dates from the actor. Naturally, this led to differences between the TV czarina and Sushant, who chose Dinesh's project.
The latest is that Kriti too is unlikely to retain her place in the love story.
What is Kriti's problem? The actress finds herself in a similar predicament as the Kai Po Che actor - Ekta and Dinesh have demanded the same chunk of dates from her too. So we hear, Kriti is being non-committal about her dates to Ekta.
When contacted, a top official from Balaji simply said, "We had not locked the girl. We're still talking to many actresses. We'll let you know."
As far as Dinesh's film is concerned, let's hope history doesn't repeat itself and his project doesn't become another Shuddhi.
