Nora Fatehi Breaks Down While Talking About Her Struggles In Bollywood: ‘I Had The Biggest Shock Of My Life, The Biggest Slap In The Face’- VIDEO
Nora Fatehi, a Moroccan girl living in Canada, had arrived in India, hoping to make it big in Bollywood. In a recent interview with Anas Bukhash, Nora Fatehi opened up about the struggles she went through in Bollywood, and the bullying, the rejection she faced. She revealed that she was too excited to make it in Bollywood and had thought that she would have a fancy life, would get picked up by a limousine, live in a nice hotel. “I thought It's going to be like a high-level lifestyle, because I'm going to Bollywood,” she said. However, she said that it was nothing like that.

In a video of the interview shared by Brut India, Nora Fatehi got emotional as she recalled all her struggles and traumatic experience. “It was nothing like that. I had the biggest shock of my life, the biggest slap in the face,” she said. She talked about meeting vicious people, who stole her passport, after which she was deported. She had to go back to Canada and people laughed at her and asked why she went to India in the first place.  She then revealed that she went back to India, and fought, learned the language. “And you're gonna meet people who are gonna laugh at you on the way, whenever you try to speak. That happened to me all the time,” she said.

Speaking about the challenges she faced while learning Hindi, and how people would laugh at her. She said that she spent hours and months with her Hindi diction coach, and he would uplift her, saying she was so good. However, she would go to an audition, and they would know she isn't Indian. They asked her whether she would be able to say the lines in Hindi. When Nora tried, they would laugh during the take, and high-five each other.
