Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has really come a long way. Having completed over a decade in the entertainment industry, she has impressed the audiences with her versatile performances. She recently won her first National Award in the ‘Best Actress’ category for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial Gangubai Kathiawadi. She is over the moon as everyone is busy showering her with love and admiration, including her darling mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor.

Taking to her official social media handle on Thursday, the veteran actress heaped praises on her daughter-in-law for winning her first National Award. Sharing one of Alia’s posts on her Instagram story, Neetu expressed her joy and revealed how proud she was feeling. For the unversed, by sharing this post, the 65-year-old dismissed all reports of family feud between the Kapoors. It had all started when the actress had posted a famous quote on her story, days after Alia not attending her birthday celebration. The quote read, “The reason why our families are not the same anymore, is because we buried the ones who used to keep the family together.” This started a discussion online as netizens started wondering if the cryptic post was pointed towards the Dear Zindagi actress. 

On the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Karan Johar’s comeback movie Rani Aur Rocky Ki Prem Kahani and Gal Gadot starrer Heart Of Stone. She has Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra franchise and Farhan Akhtar’s directorial Jee Le Zara alongside Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra Jonas in her pipeline.
