NCB Probe In Sushant Singh Rajput's Death Case To Resume After Team Member Tested Positive For COVID-19; Bollywood Stars Likely To Be Called Next Week - Reports
Recently, the investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case was brought to a halt as a team member of NCB tested positive for Coronavirus. Now, it is reported that the probe will once again begin from Monday
The Narcotics Control Bureau is thoroughly investigating the drug angle around Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Now, the case has gone beyond the late actor's death and has turned into a probe of the alleged drug cartel in the film industry. Rhea Chakraborty who has been arrested by the NCB is said to have revealed a few names of Bollywood stars who consume drugs. The Names of stars like Sara Ali Khan, designer Simone Khambatta have come to light. However, amidst the investigation, a SIT member tested positive for Coronavirus, after which, the investigation was brought to a halt for other members to get tested.
Now, as reported by IANS, the investigation is expected to begin again from Monday and celebrities are likely to be summoned by the investigating body next week. It is expected that a lot of revelations will be made once the top celebrities are questioned by NCB. Reportedly, Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty have given out names of some 20 celebrities to the Narcotics Control Bureau.
It was on September 16 that Sushant's manager Shruti Modi who was sent back home by the NCB as a member tested positive. NCB’s deputy director KPS Malhotra shared in a statement, “One of the team members of SIT has been tested positive for corona. We just received the antigen test report. In view of that other members will be tested and due protocol laid down will be followed.
