NCB Official Who Quizzed Deepika Padukone In Bollywood Drug Probe Tests Positive For COVID-19
Deputy Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), KPS Malhotra, who grilled Deepika Padukone a few days ago, has tested positive for Coronavirus
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been probing the drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, and also the alleged drug link in Bollywood. Several Bollywood names surfaced and actresses Deepika Padukone, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor were summoned by the NCB for questioning a few days ago. Now, reports state that the NCB official who had quizzed Deepika Padukone, has tested positive for Coronavirus.
According to a report in Times Now, Deputy Director of the NCB, KPS Malhotra, who led the SIT team and also quizzed Deepika Padukone a few days ago, has tested positive for COVID-19. The report states that he returned to Delhi from Mumbai. The actress might also have to get tested for COVID-19 as he had interrogated the actress over the alleged ‘WhatsApp drugs chat’ from 2017. Meanwhile, the agency had also quizzed Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash.
The NCB had earlier arrested Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, among others, in the drug probe linked with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.
Meanwhile, as the CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case continues, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)panel who were analyzing the autopsy report, submitted that Sushant died by suicide, and they have ruled out the murder theory.
