Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has been raking in all the love and appreciation from the audiences ever since its release. While fans are going gaga over the issues that Jawan addressed, the flawless execution of the story without making it too cluttered and the perfect casting for the movie, reports were doing the rounds on Thursday that Nayanthara is upset with Atlee. Now, she has put all the rumours to rest by wishing the ace-director on his birthday.

The director turned a year older on Thursday and he was swarmed with wishes from all of his admirers and industry friends. Talking to her official Instagram, Nayanthara too wished him on the special day, by sharing a collage of the behind-the-scenes photos of them from Jawan’s shoot. The actor-director duo look happy working together as Atlee is seen explaining to the Bigil actress about the scenes. Talking about the speculation of the 38-year-old actress being upset with the director, it was reported that she was unhappy as Atlee had sidelined her character and chopped off her scenes to elevate Deepika Padukone’s role in the film. Talking about Jawan, the Atlee directorial has collected over ₹518 crore at the domestic box office ever since its release and is still running strong at the box-office. Apart from Shah Rukh and Deepika, the movie also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Aaliyah Qureshi, Lehar Khan, Priyamani and many others in pivotal roles.
