Mumbai Court Asks Mumbai Police To File A Case Of Copyright Infringement Against Kangana Ranaut; DEETS Inside
After author Ashish Kaul accused Kangana Ranaut of taking content from his book, the Mumbai Court has asked police to file a case against the Queen actress.
Kangana Ranaut is currently creating a huge buzz for almost everything. After announcing her next Manikarnika Returns, a Mumbai court has asked the city police to file an FIR against actress Kangana Ranaut in a copyright violation case, filed by author of Didda: The Warrior Queen of Kashmir, Ashish Kaul.
Ashish Kaul said that he has the exclusive copyrights to the life story of Didda who was the Princess of Lohar, now in Jammu and Kashmir, and the Queen of Kashmir. The author claimed that the Queen actress took material from his book without his permission. He further added, "Is it believable by any stretch of the imagination that a story and a book are being usurped by a renowned actor-turned-social activist?" He also further mentioned in his statement that besides his book, there is only one book in the world that mentioned Queen Didda, and it is 'Rajatarangini', written in Sanskrit by Kashmiri historian Kalhana in the 12th Century CE.
He then added that 'Rajatarangini' only has two pages that talk about Didda, and the same information has been carried forward by others. Kangana was recently in the news as she tweeted about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The Manikarnika actress wrote, "For few past days, people gossiped, judged, online lynched a family based on the one-sided story at the cost of a family, I never saw the interview as sass, baby, sajish type stuff never excites me. All I want to say is one woman the only ruling Monarch left on this globe May not be an ideal MIL/wife/sister, but she is a great Queen, she carried forward her father's dream, saved the crown better than any son could have. We can't play every role to perfection even if we excel at one should be enough." Kangana further added, "She saved the crown. Let her retire like a Queen."
