The contents of the email read as, “Hello, We got your profile from a casting scout.
We are casting for an upcoming webseries for Netflix, and looking for the female lead and male (second lead). It's not a quintessential web series, and it's treatment will be very much like a film. It's a Dramedy. This webseries (first 3 episodes) will be directed by Mr. Anubhav Sinha."
As soon as the filmmaker reported about the matter to the cops, they reverted with a message, "As per our phone conversation, Kindly report at your nearest police station for necessary legal action to be initiated or Please share the details of your complaint here: https://t.co/cpYRdlMtyo".
