Mukesh Chhabra's mother Kamla passed away at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital due to age-related ailments
Casting director Mukesh Chhabra's mother Kamla Chhabra left for her heavenly abode on Thursday. She breathed her last at the age of 73 at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. The cause of Mukesh’s mom's death is still unknown. Her last rites will take place today April 14 at Oshiwara crematorium. Soon after the news of Kamla’s demise broke out, Bollywood celebs like Deepika Padukone, Farah Khan, Sunil Grover, Nupur Sanon, and Aparshakti Khurrana among others reached the hospital.
In the photos that have surfaced online, the Piku actress could be seen entering the hospital premises in her car. Mukesh took to his Instagram handle to inform everyone about the passing of his mother and shared her picture, captioning, “Our biggest support has left us for her heavenly abode. May her soul forever rest in peace.” The director also shared details about his late mother’s funeral. As per some media reports, Mukesh Chhabra’s mother Kamla’s health deteriorated in the past three days. She lost consciousness and succumbed to her illness Thursday morning.
