Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput Kapoor enjoys a huge social media following, despite staying away from the limelight. She has made a name for herself with her fashion statements along with talking about how to lead a healthy lifestyle and sharing glimpses of her home life. She recently added a feather to her cap by launching her own skincare brand. Well, on Wednesday, a video of the star wife surfaced the internet which left the netizens miffed at her behaviour.
Well-known paparazzi Viral Bhayani took to his Instagram handle to share a video of Mira being spotted out and about the city. Dressed in comfortable clothing, she left the netizens irk for letting a man hold an umbrella for her and leisurely walking on the streets amid Mumbai rains. In the video she is seen exiting a building with her phone and mug in her hand. Her help is seen walking behind her while holding an umbrella to shield her from the rain. She soon notices that the paparazzi is capturing her videos and subtly tells the man, who then moves aside while closing the umbrella. Well, it is safe to say that the incident has not gone down well with the netizens as they have taken to the comment section of the post to slam Rajput. While many questioned why she couldn’t hold her own umbrella, some even pointed out how even British royalties hold their umbrella. One wrote, “Is she Princess of somewhere?” Another wrote, “Camera dekhke hatane boli.” Other one wrote, “Even princess kate middleton hold her umberella.” One commented, “Sunch a heavy umbrella that this poor lady can't hold it by herself. For the unversed, Mira tied the knot with Shahid Kapoor in July 2015, despite their 13 year age gap, at the age of 20. Together they built their happy family alongside their kids Misha Kapoor and Zayn Kapoor. Mira had once opened up about her feeling of being referred to as a star-wife. Talking to Janice Sequeira, during the first episode of Social Media Star With Janice Season 5, she had said, “You can have an actor or celebrity or a star who has a wife or a husband, nobody says star husband, why is there a star wife?”
