Meet Varun Dhawan - The Youngest Bollywood Star To Get Waxed At Madame Tussauds!
The new Madame Tussauds wax museum at Hong Kong made the announcement of their latest entrant - Varun Dhawan...
Varun Dhawan made his debut in 2012 with Student Of The Year, and in just five years he has managed to amass a huge fan following. Not just in India, but Varun has become a huge star across the globe. And thanks to his huge fan following, the new Madame Tussauds wax museum at Hong Kong has now taken on the task of immortalizing him in wax.
Varun has beaten stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, etc to become just the fourth Indian face at the new Hong Kong center for Madame Tussauds. The other three are Mahatma Gandhi, Narendra Modi and Amitabh Bachchan.
Talking about the same to a leading daily, Varun said, "It was a great experience. I am so excited to have my wax statue at Hong Kong."
Varun is busy in Delhi for some shooting commitments but before he flew off, a team from Madame Tussauds visited him in Mumbai to take his measurements. More than 200 measurements were taken and even his hair & eye colour and skin tone were matched. Because Varun is really conscious of his looks, he has been working closely with the sculpting team and giving them ideas about the wax state's final look.
