Manoj Bajpayee On Movies Releasing On The OTT Platforms, Says 'My Job Is To Act, The Platform Is None Of My Business'
Manoj Bajpayee is one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood. The actor is known to challenge the actor within himself and deliver smashing performances all the time. Recently, he won his third National Film Award. He got it for his incredible performance in Bhonsle. Up next, he will be seen in the upcoming web movie 'Silence... Can You Hear It', co-starring Prachi Desai and Arjun Mathur. The actor will be seen playing the role of a cop investigating the mysterious disappearance of a woman in director Aban Bharucha Deohans' murder mystery.

Talking about his upcoming movie, he told Firstpost, "This is one genre I've not done and the script is fantastic. I've worked with Kiran Deohans, who was the cinematographer of Aks. His wife, Aban has been wanting to direct a feature for a long time. I was always interested in the whodunit genre and it was coming from a friend so both factors were very potent for me."

During his interview, Manoj Bajpayee revealed that not just on-screen but if the role demands, he behaves in a certain way on the set as well. He revealed that most of the time when he is laughing or talking with people, he is also thinking about his next scene. This is the way he has trained himself, 'that is the way I have become. Now that is my second nature," he said. The actor added that his character in Silence demanded a lot of interaction with his co-stars and it was a bit challenging. He also stated, "If the role demands no interaction, I just sit in a corner and try not to disturb the pitch, or the mood of the character, or the scene."

The actor made his digital debut with The Family Man, and when asked him if OTT helped him carve new paths, he said that he has been doing well even without OTT. He further added that, "My job is to act and do complete justice to it and after that if the makers decide to release in theatres, or on OTT, or satellite, it is their business, it is none of my business."
