successful and unforgettable projects like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Kabhi Haan Kabhi
Naa, Kya Kehna is no more with us. He passed away this morning at 5 as he
suffered a cardiac arrest.
The renowned writer had a peaceful death in his sleep.
Kundan Shah was 70.
No sooner, the fraternity got to know about Kundan Shah’s
death, celebrities started posting condolence messages on Twitter.
Hansal Mehta tweeted, “Jaane bhi do yaaron... RIP Kundan

Along with films, Kundan Shah also directed the popular
Doordarshan comedy series Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi and Nukkad. In November 2015, Shah
along with 23 other directors announced they were returning their National
Awards to the central government as part of a protest against growing
intolerance in the country.
