Ashutosh Gowariker’s problems with his historical drama Mohenjo Daro, starring Hrithik Roshan and newbie Pooja Hegde, refuse to end. After cinematographer Ayananka Bose (Umrao Jaan, Dostana) walked out due to a conflict with the director, SpotboyE has now learnt that a major fight occurred on the sets of the film between Ashutosh and the film’s new DoP CK Muraleedharan.
Muraleedharan is a senior cinematographer and has films like PK, 3 Idiots and Lage Raho Munna Bhai to his credit.
The fight happened when Muralee suggested that the set be erected in a certain way which Ashutosh didn’t agree with.
Ashutosh wanted it in a particular way because according to him, that’s how it was during the Indus valley civilisation. For Muralee, however, it was not visually attractive.
It is learnt that the duo couldn’t reach an understanding and the shoot had to be called off.
