Mahima Chaudhry Opens Up On Facing Two Miscarriages And Her Troubled Marriage

Mahima Choudhry made her Bollywood debut with the film Pardes in 1997. It starred her opposite Shah Rukh Khan and the film was a massive hit. From then there was no looking back for her. She featured in several films such as Dil Kya Kaare, Lajja, Dhadkan, Deewane, Dil Hai Tumhaara, Om Jai Jaagdish and more. However, her personal life back then was in a turmoil. In her recent interview, she opened up about her failed marriage and facing two miscarriages.

To Bollywood Bubble, she stated that she was not in a happy marriage. "You obviously don't tell your parents, you don't tell your people because you feel 'oh, this was one issue' and then you stay back and then one more issue and then you stay back and then I also had a - I was also expecting another child and I had a miscarriage. And then I had another miscarriage, it was all because of you not being happy in that space. Every time I wanted to go out and do an event, go out and do a show, I used to come drop my child at my mother's home and then I stayed back two days and I used to feel I'm so much more comfortable here," she said.

The actress further went on to add that it was her mother who supported her. She divorced her husband Bobby Mukherji in the year 2013 after seven years of marriage.
