Mahesh Bhatt On "Chappal Flinging" Controversy: "Kangana Is Bacchi, Will Never Say Anything Against Her Till I Die"
After Alia Bhatt, her father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has reacted on Rangoli’s comment of him throwing a chappal at Kangana Ranaut at Woh Lamhe screening in 2006. For quite some time, the Ranaut sisters have been taking potshots against the Bhatt parivaar, in return of which none of the Bhatt members have come out in open to reply to Rangoli or Kangana’s digs.

Recently, during a media interaction at the screening of Yours Truly film, Mahesh Bhatt, while reacting to Rangoli's allegations, called Kangana ‘bachchi’ and said he will never say against any actor who has started their journey with his production company, Vishesh Films.

Bhatt Sr. told reporters, “She (Kangana) is a ‘bachchi’, started her journey with us. Just because her relative (sister Rangoli) is attacking me, I won’t comment. Our upbringing and culture teach us that we should not raise a finger on our children. So saying anything against our children won’t be possible. My upbringing stops me to do so. Till I die, I will never ever say anything against our child because it is against my upbringing, it is against my nature.”

Earlier, when Alia was asked at a recent event if she feels bad about her parents being dragged into such controversies, she had told reporters, “Dekhiye, agar main aisi hu then my family is 10 times more mature and stronger than I am. Mujhe isme padna hi nahi hai, you know. I just want to be happy, positive, work hard, be a better version of myself every day. Log kya kahe, kya na kahe I should not pay attention to it. Everybody has a right to say what they want to say. Main bas chup rahugi, that’s my stand.”
