Mahesh Bhatt Called ‘Flag-Bearer Of Nepotism’; Soni Razdan Defends, ‘Has Given More Breaks To New Comers Than Anyone Else In This Industry’
Defending Mahesh Bhatt of nepotism, Soni Razdan revealed how he has given breaks to a lot of newcomers and there was a time when he refused to work with stars
Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic death has only added fuel to the fire to all the criticism around nepotism. Ever since his demise, netizens have brought several Bollywood biggies like Karan Johar, Mahesh Bhatt, Alia Bhatt and Sonam Kapoor among others at the receiving end of backlash for allegedly contributing to Sushant's degrading mental health. As a consequence, most of these celebrities have turned off comments on social media, while others have quit Twitter in the wake of negativity. Recently, a user lashed out at Alia Bhatt's father Mahesh Bhatt by calling him the 'flag-bearer of nepotism', his wife and actress Soni Razdan was quick to take notice.
She lashed out at the troll by revealing how Mahesh Bhatt didn't only give breaks to a lot of newcomers but there was also a time where he didn't work with stars at all. The comment read, "The real issue is nepotism...and your so called husband is flag bearer and so is god father of your daughter @karanjohar." To which, Soni replied, "You’re so ill informed. My husband has given more breaks to new comers than any one else in this industry."
She added, "There was a whole long period of time where he refused to work with stars. Then he was accused of not working with stars ! Do ur homework and then talk please."
