Maharashtra Govt To Move Supreme Court Against Salman's Acquittal
Maharashtra Government will file an appeal in the Supreme Court against the acquittal of Salman Khan in the 2002 hit-and-run case, where he was charged with killing one and injuring four others.

This comes close on the heels of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' statement, where he said that the state government was studying the Bombay High Court verdict.

On December 10, Bombay High Court acquitted the actor of all charges, stating that the prosecution had failed to prove he was driving the vehicle (Salman Khan acquitted in 2002 hit-and-run case, December 10).
