Bollywood’s IT couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are all set to grace Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan season 8, for the very first time. The promo of the same has been leaked on the internet, and it has left the fans buzzing with excitement. From being secretly engaged to each other in 2015 to the actress admitting that she is married to a real-life Rocky Randhawa, the leaked promo gives glimpses of confessions the couple will be making on the show.

In the video shared by a netizen on X (formerly known as Twitter), the couple and the host can be seen dressed in black attires. Welcoming the ‘Bollywood royalty,’ the couple is seen sitting close to each other. As Karan compliments them and say they look “smoking hot,” Ranveer hilariously replies with “Thanks tharki uncle.” Further in the promo, Ranveer confesses that he had been engaged to Deepika in 2015, as he didn’t want to risk anyone else doing it before him. If reports are to be believed, the couple will also be showing their wedding footage on the show for the first time. The filmmaker goes on to ask the actress, during the Rapid Fire round if she would ever date Rocky Randhawa, Ranveer’s character from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, to which she shares that she is married to him, hinting that Ranveer’s real-life persona is close to his character from the Karan Johar directorial. With such a first promo, fans have been left excited to know what more the makers of the show have in store for them. For the unversed, the couple fell in love with each other while working together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2012 movie Ram-Leela. They got married in 2018, six years after dating each other. Being together for more than a decade, they truly are the epitome of couple goals and have set the bar high for all the lovers out there. 

On the work front, last seen in Karan Johar’s comeback directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Ranveer will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra. He also has Singham 3 and Don 3 in his pipeline. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone has Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter and Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD in he pipeline. She had recently made the headlines for entering Rohit Shetty’s cop-universe as Shakti Shetty.
