Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial Chhichhore clocked a year since its release recently. The film starred late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Sharma in pivotal roles. As late Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Chhichhore completed a year, the actor’s look designer, Preetisheel Singh, who was the film’s makeup and prosthetic designer opened up about her fond memories with SSR and remembered him. During an interview, Preetisheel Singh revealed how Sushant wanted to transform into Mahatma Gandhi for a project and lots more.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Preetisheel Singh remembered the time when she was getting late Sushant Singh Rajput ready for the film. Singh opened up about the time when she was getting him ready for the bald look, for a scene in the movie. The Chhichhore designer said, “When I was getting him ready for the film, the moment he looked at himself in the mirror in that look, he said that the bald look quite suited him. He quite liked the appearance.”

As Preetisheel Singh remembered fond memories of SSR, she mentioned how the late actor said that the bald look suited him. She mentioned that Sushant liked his bald appearance the moment he looked at himself in the mirror. Talking about how Sushant had a lot of plans for his future projects, Preetisheel Singh said, “He had seen himself transform into many other avatars. He did discuss the same with me and would share a lot of ideas as well. Like, he told me that among many other great personalities, he wanted to transform into Mahatma Gandhi for a project. He wanted it to be very real and authentic. He used to get very excited discussing the same.”


The look designer mentioned how she had seen Sushant transform into many other avatars and revealed how he often discussed and shared his ideas with her. Singh then revealed that SSR wanted to transform into Mahatma Gandhi for a project and also mentioned that he wanted it to be real and authentic. Moving on, Preetisheel Singh also said that it saddens her that today the Chhichhore team would have been celebrating the film’s success with him rather than moaning his loss.

Meanwhile, Chhichhore released on September 6, 2019, in theatres. Yesterday, when the film completed a year since its release, director Nitesh Tiwari and actress Shraddha Kapoor shared posts on their social media celebrating Chhichhore’s success.
